Secret Seal
From Kevin's excerpt: Secret Seal is a comic book written and created by Kevin Enhart and Keith Foo, with artist Jimmy Kerast. Secret Seal tells the very first mission of the X-Plorer 1 station in the Marianna Trench, and its encounter with a new, deadly, life form. Flesh Wounds Advanced
Got a nice email today from a fan reminding me that I need to work on Flesh Wounds. It's nice to hear that there are people out there enjoying my game. He's certainly not the first to say "When's the next version coming out!" ... Emails like his motivate me to write more and I have to admit I have so many great ideas I need to get on paper. Another motivating factor is of course my LEGO city - which would make an awesome gameboard for Flesh Wounds. To be continued!
Flesh Wounds 1.5 and such
So I haven't done what I said I was going to do which was to focus on writing. In fact I've done anything else but ... on the great note I'm a dad now so that made writing a little tougher. Just a bit of an update since I havent' written here in almost 6 months. The Heindrich Project webcomic is now officially done. Kevin and I are moving on to print copies and focusing on getting some representation - which is great! On the other hand, that's brought renewed interest to both Flesh Wounds and THPRPG. I will get these puppies done I swear.
Flesh Wounds 1.5 and Mysterious Circumstances (aka Darkest Nights RPG)
We're looking at adding some new rules and scenarios for Flesh Wounds if you have any ideas let us know! Right now we've also taken the Mysterious Circumstances game and turned it into a very entertaining RPG called Darkest Nights - a RPG about secret societies and modern supernatural horror. Sounds good no? Well we just had our first play test and it was a blast. Players had to elude Opus Dei, gangsters, corrupt public figures and was the Illuminati behind all that? You have to play this new updated version of Mysterious Circumstances to find out!
Back from GenCon!
Hi all, after a near death experience on a plane leaving from home, it really makes you appreciate the finer things in life. Like gaming! I'll be writing up an extended article on our GenCon experiences very soon with lots of cool pictures. If you've sent us an email lately and we haven't responded, it's because we were at GenCon. I apologize we're getting at them right now! Every email gets a response!
The "to do list"
Damn this list keeps getting bigger (with many more "to do's" under each point here). But I thought that I'd share with folks what I'm working on these days.
1. Writing for The Heindrich Project as well as editing Aftermath, and THP "Universe" short stories. Yeah that's what we call them "Universe" basically any short story happening outside the main "canon".
2. Finishing The Heindrich Project RPG. Right now I'm on the "Friends and Foes" section of the book. Hope to get it done soon.
Heindrich Project RPG writing starting up again
After a short break to recoup my writing energies, the THP RPG is back on track again. Currently it is sitting at 47 pages of text (which means probably around 60 pages with images). My goal is to create a RPG along the same number of pages as World of Lykarnia (160 pages) but it could be more as there's been a ton more imagery created for THP already on our webcomic (www.theheindrichproject.com) both for the Aftermath and THP periods of the story.
End of Days Campaign Part IV is up!
Enjoy the continued adventures of our unlikely protagonists in the End of Days Campaign Part IV.
Comic Con Paris 2011
Hey everyone just a quick note to let you know that The Heindrich Project will be releasing its first print copies at Comic Con Paris! Just make sure to stop by to say hi to Kevin and Claire while you're there. On another note, work is still happening to THP RPG but at a slower rate than I would like. But it is getting done! End of Days campaign will still happen just need to find sometime to sit down and actually do the writing required!
